To determine which board you need, you must first think about your primary use of the board.
Is this to take your dog out, use it on the sea or to do yoga? Once you know this, you can narrow down your options and decide depending on stability, manoeuvrability and speed.

Here is a brief overview of some of our beginner paddleboards:
Board | Description | Board Dimensions | Recommended Paddler Weight |
---|---|---|---|
BOLT JR | A brilliant board for children and lighter paddlers. The short length and pointed nose allows for easy manoeuvrability and handling. | 9'4" x 28" x 4" | up to 60 kg / 9.5 st |
ALLROUND TEN | The Aquaplanet Allround Ten is the perfect inflatable stand up paddleboard for families, beginners and paddlers looking for a fun, responsive and light SUP. Ideal for rivers, calm seas and small waves. | 10' x 30" x 5" | up to 85 kg / 13.5 st |
ROCKIT | The 10’2” Rockit is a great all-rounder, which comes with the necessary kit to double up as a kayk. It is a little bigger than the Allround Ten, making it a tad more stable with more volume for improved buoyancy. | 10'2" x 31" x 5" | up to 85 kg / 13.5 st |
PACE | The Pace, with its signature pointed shape is ideal for use in choppier waters where the nose can cut through waves with style. This is the faster of our two 10'6" boards. MAX | The Max is the perfectly versatile SUP, suitable for use in most types of water, its rounded shape lends it more stability when compared with the PACE. See also What Is the Difference Between the MAX and the PACE? | 10'6" x 31" x 6" | up to 130 kg / 20 st |
