The Aquaplanet 3-piece paddles are made from Aluminium and do not float.
The paddles will float for a short period of time, and then will become waterlogged, causing them to sink.
However, you can purchase a paddle float separately.
Other paddles made from Carbon, Fibreglass or Carbon mix are lighter and will usually float.
